I minori collocati in strutture residenziali di assistenza extrafamiliare presentano frequentemente difficoltà emotive, comportamentali e relazionali, che possono manifestarsi attraverso problematiche sia internalizzanti sia esternalizzanti. Tali fragilità si collocano all’interno di traiettorie evolutive complesse, influenzate dall’interazione tra fattori di rischio individuali, familiari e contestuali. Il presente studio si propone di analizzare l’incidenza e le principali caratteristiche dei collocamenti residenziali di minori (0-18 anni) e ai giovani adulti (18-21 anni) in Regione Lombardia nell’anno 2024, offrendo una lettura interpretativa dei dati alla luce dei principali fattori di rischio e di resilienza individuati dalla letteratura internazionale. Nel complesso, i risultati evidenziano la natura multifattoriale e complessa dei percorsi di collocamento residenziale, sottolineando l’importanza di un approccio integrato e multilivello nella presa in carico dei minori vulnerabili. Questo approccio dovrebbe considerare le interazioni tra fattori individuali, familiari e contestuali per orientare interventi di tutela e progetti educativi in grado di promuovere il benessere e le traiettorie di sviluppo dei minori accolti.
